Statement Of Faith

The Word OF God

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is God’s revelation to humanity, and the final authority in every matter of faith, life, doctrine, morality, and conduct. To guide, correct, and equip believers to live in holiness and fulfill God’s purposes. (2 Tim 3:16–17; Ps 19:7–11; Heb 4:12; Isa 40:8; Matt 24:35)

Faith

Faith is unwavering trust in God and His Word, fully convinced that He is both willing and able to do all He has promised. Through Jesus Christ, salvation, healing, provision, victory, and every promise have already been made available. Faith is the God-appointed method to receive these promises and operate in His power. (Heb. 11:1,6; Rom. 10:17; Mk. 11:22–24; 2 Cor. 5:7)

The triune God

We believe there is one eternal, all-powerful, all-knowing, and Holy God. He exists in three distinct persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; yet is one in essence, glory, and authority. Each person of the Godhead is fully God, co-eternal, co-equal, and perfectly united in purpose and power. (Deut 6:4; Isa 45:5; Matt 28:19; Jn 1:1–3; 2 Cor 13:14)

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and lived a sinless life. On the cross, He bore the sins of the world, carried the curse, and satisfied the justice of God. On the third day rose again, defeating sin, death, and the devil. He ascended into heaven, where He reigns at the right hand of God. (Jn 1:1,14; Matt 1:23; 2 Cor 5:21; 1 Cor 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11)

Salvation

All people have sinned and fall short of God’s glory, inheriting a fallen nature through Adam. Sin separates humanity from God and brings death. But God, in His love and mercy, provided salvation through Christ Jesus alone. For there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. By His death and resurrection, forgiveness and new life are made available. Salvation is received by repentance and faith: turning from sin and trusting fully in Jesus and His finished work. Those who believe are forgiven, reconciled to God, set free from sin’s power, and given eternal life. (Gen 3; Rom 3:23; Rom 6:23; Jn 3:16; Rom 10:9–10)

Baptism in the Holy Spirit

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, which is a subsequent experience from salvation and promised to every believer. The initial physical evidence of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. The Holy Spirit empowers believers to live boldly, walk in victory over sin, and be effective witnesses for Jesus Christ. (Acts 1:4–5; Acts 2:4; Acts 10:44–46; Acts 19:2–6; 1 Cor 12:7–11)

Divine Healing

We believe divine healing is provided in the atonement of Christ and is available to every believer. When Jesus died on the cross, He not only bore our sin but also carried our sickness and disease. By His stripes, we are healed; spiritually, physically, and emotionally. Healing is a covenant promise and is received by faith, prayer, and the power of God’s Word. (Isa. 53:4–5; Matt. 8:16–17; Mk 16:17–18; Jas. 5:14–15; 1 Pet. 2:24)

Holiness

We believe God commands every believer to live in holiness, for without holiness no one will see the Lord. Holiness means being set apart from sin and consecrated fully to God. It is not optional, but the clear call of Scripture. By the power of the Holy Spirit, believers are enabled to live in purity, obedience, and victory, walking in the Spirit and reflecting the character of Christ. (Lev. 11:44; Heb. 12:14; 1 Pet. 1:15–16; 1 Thess. 4:7; Gal. 5:16)

The Second Coming

We believe that Jesus Christ will return in glory. He will first come in the clouds to rapture His Church, both the living and the dead in Christ. After the Tribulation, He will return with His saints to reign on the earth for a literal 1,000 years. His coming will be visible, powerful, and righteous, bringing justice and establishing His kingdom forever. (1 Thess. 4:16–17; Matt. 24:30–31; Rev. 20:4–6; Acts 1:11; Rev. 19:11–16)

Eternity

We believe in a real Heaven to gain and a real Hell to shun. Every person must make a decision for Christ in this life, for after death it will be eternally too late. Those who receive Jesus will inherit everlasting life in God’s presence, while those who reject Him will face eternal separation and judgment. (Matt. 25:46; Lk 16:19–31; 2 Cor. 5:10; Jn 3:36; Rev. 21:1–8)
